ARU’s 5 studios are located on four floors in the tower of the landmark Wrigley Building, and feature great views of Lake Michigan. The studios were designed with client comfort in mind. Appointments such as Imacs, printers and WiFi in every room help our clients get more accomplished while at ARU. For those who do not wish to get more accomplished, our spacious client lounge features a 50” Mitsubishi TV, Sony Playstation and fully stocked wine cooler.

For the technically minded, each studio has full access and control of our analog and digital video network. This network allows hard disk and tape based picture playback to all studios. Also at ARU we are proud to offer our massive sound effects and music libraries on hard disk. Powered by MSoft, this system allows each studio access to our library of over 100,000 sound effects via our Windows 2000 network. These 8 terabytes of music and effects can be instantly recalled and inserted into the timeline of your project.

Every studio is also equipped with a 42” 16x9 Format Sony Plasma TV or DLP projector for perfect digital reproduction of your video. . Also available to all sessions are our Sony DigiBeta digital video tape deck, Tascam DA-98 digital multi-track recorder for 5.1 stem layback, ProTools “No Noise” noise elimination software and Pioneer’s PRV LX-1 DVD Burner/Duplicator.

Every room also has access to the ARU network of 8 ISDN digital patch circuits, featuring APT and Zephyr technologies to make linking with remote studios a breeze.

In addition all of our studios are equipped with PC based CD burners that allow quick and accurate CD copies that comply with the Orange Book standard. At ARU, we work together with clients to bring their vision to life.
